Counselling services for individuals and families
My name is Gemma Botting and I’m a qualified person-centred counsellor, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I adhere to their ethical framework.
I am dedicated to providing a supportive and empathetic space where you can feel heard, valued, and understood.
I understand that life’s challenges including anxiety, abuse, depression, trauma, or grief, can feel overwhelming and isolating. You don’t have to face these struggles alone. I am here to walk alongside you, offering a compassionate and non-judgmental space where we can explore your feelings and experiences. Together, we will work through the pain and find ways to heal, grow, and build resilience. Your journey towards emotional well-being is unique, and I am dedicated to supporting you every step of the way.
My approach is rooted in trust, respect, and collaboration, empowering you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. Whether you're navigating personal challenges, seeking clarity, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, I offer a safe, non-judgmental environment to help you unlock your potential for growth and healing. Together, we can work towards greater self-awareness, confidence, and emotional well-being. Let’s take the first step towards positive change - your journey starts here.
I offer in person sessions in "The snug" on Station Road in Purton or online sessions. Each session is 50 minutes long at a cost of £50.
My individual counselling service is designed to help you overcome personal challenges and achieve your goals. I provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insights into your behaviour, and develop strategies for positive change.
I also offer couples counselling to help you and your partner improve communication, resolve conflicts, and build a stronger relationship. Whether you are facing challenges related to intimacy, trust, or other issues, I can help you work through them and achieve greater satisfaction in your relationship.
My career counselling service can help you identify your strengths, interests, and values, and develop a plan to achieve your career goals. I provide guidance on job search strategies, resume writing, interviewing skills, and more, to help you succeed in your chosen field.
I provide support for patients, families and friends navigating terminal illness. Whether you're the one diagnosed or a loved one it can bring immense emotional, physical, and psychological challenges. It's a journey filled with uncertainty, fear, grief, and sometimes, a sense of helplessness. In these difficult times, having the right support is crucial, I provide a safe space to process emotions, build coping strategies, and find a sense of peace.
